OAPFF Educational Seminar

 

 

The annual OAPFF educational seminar is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday,
November 10 and 11, 2008.

The location will be the Columbus Airport Marriott (same as last several

If you attended last year, there was a new format to the event that will be followed this year as well.  The first half of Monday will be a general session with everyone in the same room and topics/updates that are relevant to all.  After a provided lunch, everyone will have the opportunity to attend one of three breakout sessions.  One example is our legal counsel Henry Arnett spoke on rights and responsibilities of union leaders last year.

The second day will consist of breakout sessions delivered by the IAFF - PEP
staff.   Students will be able to choose 3 sessions to attend that will be
delivered by instructors brought in by the IAFF from all over the US and
Canada.
